Michelle's Mexican Lunch

1 lb sausage
1 cup onions
1 cup green peppers
2 cups canned tomatoes
1 ¾ cup buttermilk
2 cups macaroni (cooked)
1 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 tsp salt

Brown sausage in skillet with onions and green peppers.
Add tomatoes, buttermilk, macaroni and seasonings;
Stir and cover on medium heat until steaming.
Turn heat to low and cook 25 minutes, stirring occasionally
